What is Cycle Count?
Cycle Count is a real-time inventory verification process, comparing the actual shelf inventory against what is shown on the system.The cycle count can be carried out without halting operations.
Types of Cycle Count:
- Single Bin Count: Verify inventory of a specific bin 
- Bulk Cycle Count: Run count across a set of bins 
- SKU-Wise Count: Run count for all bins containing a specific SKU 
Performing a Cycle Count
- Navigate to the Cycle Count dashboard 
- Click on the ✅ icon next to the count job to start the activity 
- Scan the Bin Barcode 
- Scan all items found inside the bin 
- Once all items are scanned, click Complete Cycle Count 
⚠️ Do not complete the cycle count unless all items in the bin are scanned.
Variance Handling & Auto Adjustments
After completing a Cycle Count:
- Variances (short/excess) will be shown in Inventory Reco → Inventory-wise Discrepancies 
- Review the Short and Excess tabs 
- Upon verification and approval, click Auto Adjust to align system stock with physical count 
- The system would adjust the stock as per the observations recorded and corresponding cycle count id is recorded in the logs.
