Paper-Based Picking

When the team does not want to use the scan bin → scan item → scan bin/item flow, the WMS supports paper-based picking as an alternative.

In paper-based picking:

• The WMS generates a picking sheet that can be printed and handed to the picker.

• This sheet lists:

  • The items to be picked

  • The bins they should be picked from

  • The quantity to pick for each item

Once the picking is done as per the sheet, the picker or supervisor can mark the picking as complete with a single click in the WMS.
 The system assumes that all items were picked accurately as per the suggested bins and quantities.
