What is SKU Channel Mapping?

Modified on Tue, 21 Nov, 2023 at 4:16 PM

SKU channel mapping is required for all the items created in WMS. If an item is being sold on multiple channels, the SKU channel mapping needs to be created for all the channels individually.

Whenever a new item is added in the WMS, it needs to be mapped with the Channels from where the orders are coming.

The orders would reflect in the “On-Hold” tab with Sync-Failed status if the mapping is not done.

Following is a stepwise process to map the new SKUs with the Channels.

Step 1: Go to the Channels section located on the left panel of the interface and click on “SKU Channel Mapping”.

Step 2: Click on the “Import SKU Mapping” tab present at the top and a following screen will appear.

Step 3: Click the “Download Sample” button to download the template. Open the downloaded excel file and fill the required details.

  1. First, fill the channel code of the channels on which that SKU is on sale. Fill the Product SKU code, Price & Item name fields from the details available in the “Items” tab.

  2. Channel SKU/Product id is the SKU code of that item on the respective channels.

Step 4: After filling these details, save the file and upload it on WMS by first selecting this file and clicking on “Import SKU channel mapping”.

If all the details are correct, these SKUs will start reflecting in the “SKU Channel Mapping” Tab. If there is some error, you can download the Response File and check the failure reasons in the “Response” sheet in that file.
