ProWMS Release Notes - August, 2023

Overview

With this latest release, we are excited to present new features designed to enhance your warehouse management experience, accompanied by numerous improvements aimed at enhancing performance and reliability across the board.

New  Features

• Gate Entry

  • ProWMS now features a Gate Entry system in the Inbound Section to record vehicle details when entering or exiting the warehouse premises.

  • The Reporting section now includes a 'Gate Entry Report,' offering comprehensive details on all gate entries within WMS.

• Automated Expected Returns 

  • The WMS will automatically generate a corresponding expected return in ProWMS for the following channels

    • Flipkart

    • Myntra

    • Amazon 

    • Proship

• Pincode warehouse mapping functionality

  • This new feature has been introduced in the Order Allocation tab within settings. Now, the orders coming from specific pin codes will be automatically assigned to the corresponding warehouse linked to that pin code for the order fulfillment process.

  • A sample excel file has been added in this section which can be filled with the necessary details and uploaded to associate warehouses with specific pin codes.

• Open PutAway Search

  • ProWMS now has a functionality where one can easily search for pending putaways for a specific SKU by simply scanning it in the 'Open Putaway' tab within the Inbound Section.    

• Purchase Order Product Search

  • The 'PO search' feature has been introduced in the Inbound Section, allowing the users to search the corresponding Purchase Order (PO), its quantity, and status by scanning the SKU.

• USN Search

  • A 'USN Search' feature has been added in the Outbound section of WMS, catering to brands utilizing USN barcodes, enabling users to easily search for order details associated with any USN.

• Safety Stock channel wise functionality

  • Different safety stocks can now be maintained for various channels such as Flipkart, Unicommerce and Yojaka.

• Unicommerce Partial Cancellation functionality

  • The WMS can now handle partial cancellations of the orders received from Unicommerce. WMS can fulfill the partial orders while generating putaways for the canceled items.

Enhancements

• Dashboard Additions

  • On the dashboard, users can now also view the data related to Orders, Returns, and Cancellations.

• Manifest Space Optimisation

  • Through white space optimization and pdf changes, the manifest document is now made compact to contain more than 60 packages entries in one page. 

• Showing request and response of API Inventory Feed on UI

  • In the Inventory Log details within WMS, the request and response APIs are now visible for failed logs, offering users insight into the causes of stock allocation failures.

• Location Master Dump Report

  • The following columns have been added in the location master dump report: Created By, Created Date, Modified By and Modified Date.

• Bin Validation based on Bin type

  • A validation has been implemented to ensure that the dimensions of bins added to the bin master fall within a specific range determined by the bin types
