ProWMS Release Notes - November, 2023

Overview

With this latest release, we are excited to present new features designed to enhance your warehouse management experience, accompanied by numerous improvements aimed at enhancing performance and reliability across the board.

New  Features

• Carton-In, Piece-Out (CIPO) Functionality

  • The WMS now includes the UOM (Units of Measure) feature, which enables the management of relationships between Cartons, Packets, and Eaches for any product, thereby allowing Carton-in and Piece-out functionality.

  • Bulk Break: When required, one will be able to break larger UOMs into smaller ones. Each unit of the smaller UOM will be barcode stickered during this step.

• Item Not Found Functionality

  • During the Picking process, users now have the option to mark inventory as "Not Found" if the stock is unavailable in the bin.

  • A "Not Found Inventory" tab has been added under the "Inventory" section of WMS which displays all the inventory marked as "Not Found," along with their respective picklist numbers.

  • Also, an automatic Putaway is generated for a short-picked order's picklist due to 'Inventory Not Found'.

• Bin Sequence Upload

  • A new Excel template named "Upload Bin Sequence" has been introduced for uploading the Bin Sequence, which determines the picking sequence. It can be accessed through Warehouse > Bins.

•  Stock Adjustment Data after Cycle Count

  • Now, after the Bin Cycle Count, an Excel file named 'Stock Adjustment Data' is generated, which can be used for Stock Adjustment within the WMS.

• Myntra Tag Loop

  • Tag loops can be made mandatory for Myntra orders on a configurable basis. 

  • The system will automatically tag orders where tag loops are mandatory. 

  • The invoices and the shipping label will be generated for such orders only after the tag loop is scanned against each line item of the order. 

• Diagnose Stock Option

  • The users can now easily diagnose short and available stock against each line item in a B2B order. 

  • The option automatically handles batching applied against order line items. 

• Partial Allocation of D2C Orders

  • The WMS can allocate D2C orders partially on a configurable basis. This will allow brands to block inventory even if the complete order is not in stock. 

• Learning Section

  • The WMS now features a new "Learning" section at the bottom left, allowing users to access all FAQs and Release Notes related to the system.

• Gate Entry ID mandatory during GRN

  • A new configuration at the brand level has been introduced, allowing the requirement to record a Gate Entry ID before initiating the GRN process.

Enhancements

• Picking Sequence and Storage Type on Bins Page

  • The WMS UI now includes the Picking Sequence and Storage Type information for each bin, accessible by navigating to Warehouse > Bins.

• Reupload of signed manifest

  • The WMS UI now allows users to reupload signed manifest copy in case the same was uploaded erroneously.
